Rainbow Grocery Cooperative’s Scrip Program uses reloadable gift cards to help fund local schools. The gift cards are initially purchased by the participating school’s Scrip coordinator who gives one to each parent. Rainbow donates 10% of the initial card purchase amount back to the school. Then parents can then add value to their own card at any of our registers (up to $1,000) and then 10% of the cumulative reloaded value for each school is also sent to the school as a donation at the end of each month.
