Homeopathic remedies Plumbum 1M and Opium 30 were given to lead intoxicated rats after a large lead exposure. The Plumbum and Opium were only partially able to relieve the toxicity. Plumbum 1M was not effective in treating an acute, large lead exposure.
Plumbum 1M was found to be effective in treating chronic, low dose exposure to lead with anemia.
CONCLUSION: Plumbum 1M and Opium 30 didn’t relieve the toxicity of a large, sudden dose of lead. Plumbum 1M did relieve the toxicity of more chronic low dose lead.
